statue of limitations heading

Since its completion in 1909, the Statue of Limitations has become one of the most popular attractions in the Tortoise Islands. Situated 120 km north of the capital, Los Midas, the statue has become a symbol of the spirit of the people of the nation.

Refusing to listen to the people who said it couldn't be done, renowned sculptor Roden Augustus worked tirelessly for more than 15 years on a block of pure white marble quarried from Lost Island.

The Statue of Limitations won the Dumbell Prize for Sculpture in 1911.
